DAY

Seoul

Experience real Korean life of the past and today! Today, our English-speaking tour guide will pick you up at your hotels in Seoul. The first tourist attraction is Gwanghwamun Square & Gyeongbokgung Palace. Visit Gwanghwamun where the King of the Joseon Dynasty (1392~1910) used to come in and out. Now, this is the center of Korean democratic history. After visiting Gwanghwamun, head to Gyeongbokgung Palace. You can see the palace representing the Joseon Dynasty, wearing Korean traditional clothes, Hanbok and feel like you live in the Joseon Dynasty period.
The next tourist attraction is Seochon Hanok Village where many people lived during the Joseon Dynasty period, and ordinary people of the modern and contemporary age have lived. After visiting Hanok buildings like Yi sang's house, Daeo book store, and Sangcheonjae, you can drink oriental herbal tea at a Hanok café. (You may experience moxa therapy!)
Then you will visit Tongin Traditional Market. Enjoy market foods, such as Tteokbokki, Jeon, noodles, and rolled bacons using Korean traditional coins, Yeopjeon. In the afternoon, visit National Museum of Korea and learn about three major cultural heritages of Korea from the tour guide.

Next, go to famous dating courses that many Korean people visit on the weekendsand see the beautiful river view of the weekend afternoon in Banpo Han River Park. Also, you can enjoy Dokkaebi night food market or busking with Korean people here!

Today's highlight is the Hanok stay in Bukchon Hanok Village. It will be interesting to stay in the Korean traditional house, Hanok with a personal bathroom.

You will experience the unique Korean culture, Temple Experience in a famous Buddhist temple, Woljeongsa Temple for half the day. You can have time to remove greed and relax, by having a tea time with a Buddhist monk and talking with him. Also, you will make Buddhist player beads used in traditional Buddhist temples and eat some Buddhist temple cuisines. (You may choose to stay in the temple.)

After the temple experience, move to the East Sea and stay at the hotel near the ocean. You can have free time with other tourists, swimming at the hotel or taking a walk around the Gyeongpo Beach.

After breakfast at the hotel, ride bicycles along the Gyeongpo lake. Gyeongpo lake is a symbolic place to give us comfort and peace always, not just a simple lake.

Next, you will visit Ojookheon house where Sinsaimdang and her son, Yulgok Yi-i lived. Sinsaimdang and Yukgok Yi-I are printed on the fifty thousand won bill and the five thousand won bill of Korean money papers, respectively. Let's feel and study how they became great ones of Korea, looking around Ojookheon.

After moving for about two hours, you will arrive in Suwon where is famous for Korean BBQ, Galbi. After having Korean BBQ lunch, visit Suwon Hwasung Fortress [Unesco World Cultural Heritage].
